Bachem Granted Manufacturing License by Japanese Ministry of Health Labour and Welfare

Bachem AG, the internationally recognized manufacturer of the highest quality biochemical and pharmaceutical drug products for the pharma and biotech industry has been granted a renewed manufacturing license in conformity by the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW). The license allows Bachem to continue to manufacture active pharmaceutical ingredients intended for the Japanese market.

All three of Bachem’s GMP production facilities – Switzerland based, Bachem AG in Bubendorf and Bachem SA, Succursale de Vionnaz and US based Bachem Americas, Inc. in Torrance, California have met the strong requirements to achieve the license and supply the Japanese market for many years.

The license and Bachem’s extensive experience in the registration of master files in Japan allows the company to supply Japan based pharmaceutical and biotech companies with the required quantities of APIs ranging from small quantities for development projects to bulk deliveries for successfully marketed products.
