Phage Consultants Honoured in Micro-Entrepreneur of the Year Awards

Phage Consultants is delighted to announce that it has been honoured with a prestigious category award at the Micro-Entrepreneur of the Year 2012 awards. The annual contest, organised by the CitiBank Foundation was held at the Warsaw Stock Exchange Hall in September.

The award recognises Phage Consultants’ work in the area of bacteriophage infection control within biotechnological processes, specifically its progress made between 1 January 2005 and 31 December 2008. The award and 15 000 zł prize, was collected by the company’s founder, Marcin Los. Marcin and Phage Consultants’ passion to fight phage infections was what set them apart from other companies within its category.

After collecting the award, Marcin Los said: “We would like to thank our customers for their support, without their appreciation for our services we would not be where we are now. He continued: ‘It’s great to be recognised and we really do look forward to developing new and innovative ways to help fight highly destructive phage infections.”

About Micro-Entrepreneur of the Year 2012 Awards

The 8th annual awards were held on 18th September at the Warsaw Stock Exchange Hall. In total there were 215 entries across three categories. Awards were presented by Christopher Kaczmar, President Kronenberg Foundation and the Andrew Arendarski, President of the National Chamber of Commerce.
